  6.          The laver stood about midway between the altar and the tabernacle.  It 
  7. was  the basin  used by the officiating priests,  and was made from  the bronze 
  8. mirrors of the women (Exodus 30:18; 38:8).                                      
  9.                                                                                 
  10.          It was probably round, of considerable size, with another and shallow- 
  11. er basin beneath it,  into which the  water ran after being used,  and in which 
  12. the priests washed their feet.  We have no Bible  information as to its size or 
  13. shape.
